Cepi Paper & Beyond 2020

Paper & Beyond is the annual event of the Confederation of European Paper Industries (Cepi) and its value chain, bringing together pulp and paper producers, paper and cardboard product manufacturers, technology suppliers, EU policymakers, researchers, scientists and press members.
By partnering with OFCORES, Cepi was able to hold this year’s edition virtually for the first time! The 2-day event was broadcasted from a studio located in Brussels. On top of engaging sessions, all participants had access to online networking experiences and a digital library of resources to extend the virtual experience!
Solutions
During this first collaboration together, OFCORES provided virtual event solutions in a constantly changing environment due to the COVID-19 crisis. The services included registration and supplier management, venue search, providing a virtual tools manual for the speakers, event script creation, coordinating technical rehearsals with speakers, and supporting on-site during rehearsal and live streaming.
Additionally, OFCORES supported Cepi in pre-recording several of the sessions at the Penta Hotel Hybrid Event Studio.

Results
In collaboration with OFCORES, this 2-day event was delivered in an innovative format, showcasing the European paper industry’s vital contributions to the European Green Deal policies and successfully connecting Cepi’s attendees.
